Eastern Cape
The Eastern Cape is the traditional home of the Xhosa people and offers
the visitor a world of diversities. The Eastern Cape's interior is the arid
Karoo, with its wildlife, while in contrast there is the Indian Ocean's
Sunshine and Wild Coast areas.
Also within the province lies the village of Qunu where Nelson Mandela was
born and raised.

Free State
The Free State with its rolling hills, wide golden plains, impressive
sandstone mountains and almost 340 days of sunshine per year, is a haven for
the outdoor enthusiast.
The two main cities in the province are Bloemfontein, the capital, and
Welkom. Bloemfontein is the economic and cultural centre of the Free State.
It is also called the City of Roses, a modern city and is seat of the South
African Supreme Court.

Gauteng
Gauteng - Place of Gold – is the economic powerhouse of the Southern
African region and home to Africa’s greatest cities.
From the vibrant metropolis of Soweto, through dynamic Johannesburg, City of
Gold to the tree-lined diplomacy of Pretoria, Gauteng is a cosmopolitan,

KwaZulu-Natal
KwaZulu Natal offers the visitor an interaction of natural wonders,
modern facilities, fascinating cultures and a rich history - in a
breathtakingly beautiful landscape with a variety of settings.
The Drakensberg and the Greater St Lucia Wetland Park are the 2 Heritage
sites and the primary game reserves are Hluhluwe-Imfolozi, Itala, Mkuze,
Ndumo, Phinda and Tembe Elephant Park.

Limpopo
The Limpopo is a eco-tourist destination where mountain ranges rise
suddenly and dramatically out of bushveld plains. On the slopes of these
mountains you will find indigenous forests, placid streams and beautiful
waterfalls.
Much of the land is unspoilt providing sanctuary to large numbers of game.
Game reserves are found in 2 different regions within Limpopo.

Mpumalanga
Mpumalanga, which means "land of the rising sun" in the local SiSwati
language, offers you from exhilarating wildlife, to secluded mountain
retreats, wild water sports and some of South Africa's most diverse and
vibrant African cultures.
Mpumalanga is not a highly developed province with large cities and towns -
instead, visitors to the province are brought closer to nature.

Northern Cape
The Northern Cape is noted for its San rock art, diamond diggings, 4X4
safaris and the Kgalagadi Wildlife Park. It is a vast stretch of semi-desert
land. The distance from the capital, Kimberley, on the eastern border to
Springbok (in the west) is more than 900km.
It is a large, dry region of fluctuating temperatures and varying
topographies. As the most arid part of South Africa it offers the visitor an
experience that is not elsewhere available.

North West
The North West is a peaceful province with a year round, sunny climate,
exciting wildlife destinations free of malaria and various cultural and
historical attractions.
Within the Province lies the famous Sun City leisure resort offering a host
of activities ranging from world-class golfing, gambling, games,
extravaganzas, a valley of waves with a beach, cinemas and restaurants.

Western Cape
The Western Cape is a province of diversities. It offers the visitor a
unique cultural and natural heritage and a rural easy-going atmosphere -
which is coupled with a first world infrastructure.
From the time of the first recorded discovery of the Cape of Good Hopeby
Bartholomew Diaz in 1488, seafarers looked forward to the sight of Table
Mountain.
